Discover T-Lab PRF. T-Lab have been leading the way in the field of regenerative medicine since 2012, and since their launch, the PRF tubes have delivered over 2 million treatments worldwide. These Class II Medical Devices offer a completely chemical activator free injectable PRF, providing a fully autologous treatment from start to finish. The inner wall structure of the tubes are built with micropolishing technology, giving excellent smoothness and preventing platelet-aggregation. Obtain clean, pure I-PRF in under 4 minutes.
The T-Lab PRX (PRF) Tubes come in a box of 24 individually wrapped and sterilised and are Class IIB certified and CE marked. The PRF can be injected for up to 16 minutes before coagulation, giving the practitioner ample time for treatment.
Centrifugation Protocol:
Centrifuge Type | I-PRF with T-Lab PRX Tubes |
Swing-Out Rotor | 1500 RCF 4 Minutes |
Fixed Angle Rotor | 500 RCF 3 Minutes |
Instructions:
- Open your box and take two PRF tubes
- Carefully attach your blood collection device to a sanitised part of the patient's arm
- Slide the PRF tube into the blood collection holder. The PRF tubes are vacuumed, meaning blood will automatically start collecting and stops in the same way
- Repeat this with both tubes
- Transfer the blood samples to the centrifuge immediately, and program it to spin at 1500 RCF for 3 minutes. (4 minutes if you have a swing-out rotor). We recommend our H06 or S08 centrifuge for best results, but the tubes are compatible with any medically standard centrifuge with 10-15ml rotor slots
- Attach a long needle to a 5ml luer-lok syringe
- Collect the PRP/injectable PRF just above the RBC layer by inserting the long needle into the tube. Do not open the lid
- Carefully collect 4ml of the concentrated plasma layer.
- Inject the platelet concentrate into the patient as soon as possible
Required Equipment
-
Blood Collection Needle / Phlebotomy Set / Butterfly Set
- Phlebotomy set / butterfly set / blood collection needle is not recommended to be smaller than 21G
- Centrifuge
- Long Needle and Syringe
- Long needle is recommended to be 88mm-100mm 18G-19G.
- Long needle used to collect platelet concentration from the tube
- Syringe used to collect the platelet concentration should have a a minimum capacity of 5ml and be a locked model

"Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) belongs to a new generation of platelet concentrates geared to simplified preparation without biochemical blood handling. In this initial article, we describe the conceptual and technical evolution from fibrin glues to platelet concentrates. This retrospective analysis is necessary for the understanding of fibrin technologies and the evaluation of the biochemical properties of 3 generations of surgical additives, respectively fibrin adhesives, concentrated platelet-rich plasma (cPRP) and PRF."
"Platelet rich plasma (PRP) has been utilized in regenerative dentistry as a supra-physiological concentrate of autologous growth factors capable of stimulating tissue regeneration. Despite this, concerns have been expressed regarding the use of anti-coagulants, agents known to inhibit wound healing. In this study, a liquid formulation of platelet rich fibrin (PRF) termed injectable-PRF (i-PRF) without the use of anti-coagulants was investigated."
