The T-Lab PRP kit is an easy to use, highly effective all-in-one kit which provides you with all the equipment you need for a seamless PRP treatment. One of the kits' key strengths is in its flexibility, showing proven results in aesthetics, hair loss and orthopaedics.
Exceptional DEPA Score (Dose of Injected Platelets, Efficiency of Production, Purity of PRP, Activation of PRP)
*DEPA score data is taken from comparative analyses made within the scope of “PRP Classification”, which was organized by impartial physicians within the scope of IMCAS congress and attended by the world's leading PRP manufacturers. T-Lab performed higher on all three factors compared to the biggest industry competitors.
*IMCAS 2023 Neutral DEPA Analysis Results
Platelet Recovery Rate: 82.6% - Platelet Dose: 4.4 Billion - Purity: 95.2%
Proven Quality
The T-LAB PRP Kit production is carried out to T-LAB's GMP standards in 1 ISO 8 room, 4 ISO 7 rooms, 1 ISO 5 clean room, from plastic raw material to tube assembly, from sterilization to packaging, in its own facility with ISO 13485 medical device quality standards. The sole purpose of all these quality processes is to always deliver the best product with the same quality. T-LAB ISO 13485 quality management system is audited and certified by Lloyd's Register, one of the largest certification bodies in the UK.
Proven Security Control
The T-LAB PRP Kit goes through more than a hundred control stages from raw material purchase to reaching the patient. T-LAB tests and verifies each production step many times, and reports and manages its processes open to third party inspection. They apply their security controls with the sensitivity of producing each of their products with the same high standard of quality.
Included
Products | Use |
TLAB - PRP Tubes 2 x T-LAB PRP Tubes |
The T-Lab PRP Tubes are 10ml in volume, specially manufactured vacuumed tubes containing 1ml of a sodium citrate anticoagulant. The tubes are Gamma Sterilised, don't include other homologous elements such as thixotropic gel, and are nonhemolytic. We recommend a harvesting 4ml of PRP with each treatment. |
T-LAB Resuspension Tubes 1 x T-LAB Resuspension Tubes |
The PRP kit includes 1 resuspension tube - a 5ml volume tube with which to resuspend both PRP samples for the most effective overall treatment. We recommend gently shaking the tube between 30 seconds - 1 minute. |
Injectors and needles 1 x 5ml injector 1 x 1ml injector 1 x Long Needle 1 x 21G Needle 1 x 30G Needle |
Two injectors are included in each kit. The first is a 5ml injector used to collect the PRP from one tube and inject into the resuspension tube. The 1ml injector is used to inject the PRP into the patient. There a three needles in each kit; a long needle, a 21G needle and a 30G needle. The long needle is to attach to the 5ml injector when harvesting the PRP from the PRP tube to the resuspension tube. The 21G needle is then used to take the PRP from this resuspension tube, while the 30G needle is used for injection. |
Phlebotomy Set 1 x Holder1 x Blood Collection Needle |
The phlebotomy set includes a holder and a blood collection needle, for drawing blood from the patient into the PRP tube. |
Centrifugation Protocol
Centrifuge Type | Pure PRP Protocol |
Swing Out Rotor | 1150 RCF for 4 minutes |
Fixed Angle Rotor | 500 RCF for 3 minutes |
How to Use
- Attach the blood collection needle to the holder.
- Apply the blood collection Needle to the sanitized part of the patient’s arm
- Slide the PRP Tube inside the blood collection holder
- The PRP tube is vacuumed, so blood will start and stop being collected automatically. Repeat the process with both tubes, without removing the needle/holder from the patient's arm
- Transfer the blood samples to the centrifuge immediately, and program it to spin at the recommended centrifugation protocol.
- Attach the long needle to the 5ml luer-lok syringe.
- Collect the PRP just above the RBC layer by inserting the long needle into the tube. Do not open the lid
- Once collected, carry to the resuspension tube and insert. Do the same for both tubes
- You should have approximately 4ml of PRP in the resuspension tube. Gently shake it for 30 seconds to homogenize the settlement of the possible clumped cells in the plasma milieu
- Attach the application needle (green needle - 21G) to the 1ml luer-lok syringe. Draw the PRP from the resuspension tube into the syringe.
- Change the application needle (green needle - 21G) to the injection needle (yellow needle - 30G.)
- Apply your preferred injection method to the patient
