Centrifuge Repairs

We understand that like many other things, centrifuges may require repairs from time to time. Hawksley offer repairs on a number of different centrifuges; including our own brand models; The VetSpin Duo, the Haematospin and Vetspin 1400.

We can arrange collection of your broken machine however organising delivery independently to our address can be a cheaper alternative.

Due to our quick turnaround on repairs, loan machines are no longer our standard practice and will only be offered if for any reason we would need to keep your machine for an extended period of time, we would discuss this with you.

Our team will examine the fault and send a quote before repair, depending on the service needed and the price of spare parts. If after the quote you would not like any repairs done, there will only be a charge of £25 + VAT for machine inspection.

Delivery of fixed machine	£20 + VAT
Repairs	£50 + VAT (per hour)

Servicing price list:

We recommend all customers have their centrifuges serviced to help maintain the efficiency of their machine.

Service	£100 + VAT (per hour)

Preparation

PLEASE REMOVE THE ROTOR BEFORE SENDING TO AVOID DAMAGING THE MACHINE. BUBBLE WRAP THE ROTOR AND PACK INSIDE THE BOX SEPARATELY.

If not please ensure you pack around the rotor to stop the rotor moving in transit.

Warranty

When purchasing one of our centrifuges, you will find a warranty card. Upon signing with the required information, the warranty card will last one year. This will entitle the user to free repairs and replacements for damage that they were not responsible for causing.
