Complete Customisation

Hawksley & Sons is committed to meeting the demands of a wide range of technicians. Thanks to our rotor recognition technology, technicians can swap out rotors to best suit their current needs.

Microtube Rotor

The Microtube Rotors are designed for the centrifugation of smaller sample sizes ranging from 0.5ml to 2ml.

High-Capacity Microtube Rotor

The High-Capacity Microtube Rotors are designed for users who need to centrifuge 0.5ml and 2ml tubes at increased volume.
Haematocrit Combined Rotor Without Lid

Haematocrit & Microtube Rotor

The High-Capacity Microtube Rotors are designed for users who need to centrifuge 0.5ml and 2ml tubes at increased volume.

4-Place Swing Out Rotor

For larger-volume samples where cell viability is critical, Centurion recommends the four-place swing-out rotor. It accommodates either 4 × 500 ml or 4 × 750 ml tubes, depending on the buckets required, with a maximum total capacity of 2 or 3 L.

High Volume Fixed Angle Rotor

For high-volume samples, Centurion offers the six-place fixed-angle rotor for the Large Centrifuges. It can hold up to 6 × 250 ml tubes, with a maximum RCF of 16,100.

High Speed Fixed Angle Rotor

Centurion offers three high-speed fixed-angle rotors for the Large Centrifuges, available for 15 ml, 50 ml, and 100 ml sample sizes. All rotors have a maximum speed of 13,400 RCF, or 10,000 RPM.

Low Speed Fixed Angle Rotor

Centurion offers three low-speed fixed-angle rotors for the Large Centrifuges, available for 15 ml, 50 ml, or 100 ml sample sizes. All rotors can centrifuge up to 4,800 RCF, or 6,000 RPM.

Microtiter Plate Rotor

The Microtiter Rotor is a high-performance rotor for microplate centrifugation, ideal for ELISA, PCR, and other assay workflows. It offers rapid spin-down, low vibration, and secure plate clamping for reliable results, while its robust, corrosion-resistant construction ensures long-lasting, safe use in busy laboratories.

LED or LCD

Centurion's ProAnalytical range is available with two display options, LED and LCD, allowing you to choose the interface that best suits your laboratory needs.

  • The LED display offers simple, reliable control of speed, time and temperature, which is perfect for routine, everyday centrifugation tasks.
  • The LCD option features a modern touchscreen with added functionality, allowing more precise control based on relative centrifugal force over time. Perfect for applications requiring higher accuracy, flexibility and more advanced programming.

User-Friendly Features

Centurion Centrifuges are manufactured with users in mind, delivering the following advantages:

  • 10 Acceleration and deceleration rates for sample assistance
  • Timer 0-99 mins & hold 1/30 second increments for total flexibility
  • Pulse short run for fast pelleting
  • Run in RPM or RCF (g) in 10 increments for complete accuracy
  • Orientation acceleration rate prevents initial sample side deposits
