Hawksley microhaematocrit capillary tubes are high-quality products that conform to ISO 12772 and are supplied colour-coded in blue for plain, red for sodium Citrate heparinisation, and purple for K2 EDTA heparinisation. Ammonia (green) or lithium heparinisation (orange) can be supplied on request.
K2 EDTA heparinisation will remove calcium from the blood sample and permanently stop any clotting from happening.
